Course Description

Program Overview the Master of Science (MSc) in religious education at Koya University is designed to provide research skills and developing the scientific ability of the graduates in the correct understanding of the Shari'a texts and getting acquainted with the different methods in interpreting these Shari'a texts and knowing the reason for these differences and how to do a Shari'a scientific comparison by going back to the sources of Shari'a

 

Program Objectives

Program Structure The MSc program typically spans two years and includes:

• Core Courses: Covering the study of Islamic sciences for an advanced stage.
• Research Thesis: An important independent research project under the supervision of faculty members.

Research Areas The department supports research in various fields, including but not limited to:

• Study of the hadiths of the Prophet.
• Principles of jurisprudence and semantics.
• Islamic economics and contemporary financial transactions.
• Legitimate purposes.

Learning Outcomes Graduates of the MSc program will:

• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of Islamic sciences in order to achieve the purposes of Sharia.
• Analysis of contemporary issues from their various dimensions and the jurisprudence of the rules of the purposes of Sharia.
